02 June 2017, Antipolo City

The “Gabi ng Pasasalamat” (A Night of Appreciation) of Fatima University Medical Center (FUMC) Valenzuela was held at the Events Center of the Antipolo Valley Mall on Sumulong Highway in Antipolo City on June 02, 2017 attended by its accredited companies, HMOs, suppliers, media partners, and physicians of various medical specialties.

Dr. Vicente Santos, Jr., FUMC President and Section Head of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, opened the program by welcoming all the guests to the new Events Center and by thanking them all for joining “Gabi ng Pasasalamat” amidst the reported heavy-traffic-causing road construction on Marcos Highway and an unfortunate event that happened at a casino hotel in Manila earlier that day.  Dr. Santos expressed his sincere appreciation to the present partnerships and to the coming future ties that will be forged when the new FUMC Antipolo opens late this 2017.

The night was graced by the arrival of the medical director of Valenzuela Medical Center, Dr. Imelda M. Mateo and her husband, Dr. Monfel C. Mateo of Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, Marikina City.

Hosts Mr. Chris Bacula of FUMC Marketing Department and Dr. Rozaida Maglaya, Chief Resident of FUMC Department of Pediatrics formally presented the new corporate website and the new corporate video of FUMC.  They invited the guests to type http://www.fumc.com.ph on their smartphone’s web browser and were encouraged to use the hashtag #FUMC50 to unify or gather all posts on the social media in one trending topic.

Facial treatment and Ultraliposlim prizes courtesy of Aesthetic and Skin Laser Center of FUMC were raffled off by Mr. Enrico John O. Santos, FUMC Vice President for Finance.  It was the major prize of iPhone 7 that further heightened the excitement of the raffle portion of the program.

Dr. Oscar Payawal, the FUMC Medical Director, and Dr. Santos also acknowledged the presence of the new doctor partners who will be joining the soon-to-open FUMC Antipolo situated right next to the Antipolo Valley Mall.  All the new doctors introduced themselves including their respective medical specialties.

After the Certificates of Appreciation were formally handed to the accredited companies and to the HMO partners, Dr. Yvonne O. Santos-Guevara, the Hospital Administrator of FUMC, closed the gleeful “Gabi ng Pasasalamat” and thanked all the guests for joining the event.

The rest of the evening was filled with the cool voice and warm acoustic guitar rendered by Ivory Music artist, Mr. Roy Antonio.
